Five suspects of Peshawar school attack captured in Afghanistan
Pakistan intelligence agencies had provided information to Afghan authorities regarding presence of school attack suspects in an Afghan province.
Sources said the suspects were in coordination with the Peshawar school attackers on December 16 through telephone, and their communication record led to their arrest.
They further said the suspects had been handed over to Pakistan, however, the Government of Pakistan had not given any official word in this regard.
Following the barbaric attack on Army Public School in Peshawar by Taliban on December 16 that claimed 149 lives including over 130 children, Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif along with Director General Inter Services Intelligence (ISI) Lt. Gen. Rizwan Akhtar had dashed to Peshawar to give evidence to Afghan authorities regarding attackers hiding in Afghanistan.
