Crime Investigation Department (CID) shot dead two Taliban terrorists in an encounter at Mauripur area of the city. Law enforcement agencies took action against the militants after they received information about their presence in the area.
Weapons and other goods were recovered from the slain terrorists.
Three TTP militants were gunned down in an encounter at Ghaghar Railway Crossing and weapons were recovered from them, according to Rangers.
On the other hand, three Lyari Gang War activists, wanted for murder and extortion, were killed in an encounter during a joint operation of Police and Rangers at Niazi Intersection in Lyari.
