Forces comprising top police officers, Frontier Constabulary personnel and spy agencies officials raided three hideouts of terror suspects in a neighborhood in Guldar Baghicha, Chaman.
DPO Asad Khan told the ARY News that raiding team had an encounter with terrorists in the area and security personnel overpowered them after intense exchange of gunfire.
He said five terrorists were nabbed and a vehicle in which explosives were being installed had been seized.
Apart from the explosives-laden vehicle, 11 hand grenades, two kalashinkovs, two pistols and three sacks of explosives recovered from the terrorists.
He claimed that the terrorists belonged to Afghan area Kunar. The arrested suspects have been moved to undisclosed location for interrogation.
