The issue, found both men and women, is commonly addressed by deodorants who temporarily quench the stench. Atificial-scent sprays only shield body odor for a short duration, but they fail to treat the underlying cause of these smells.
Today we present five ways to tackle undesirable body odour to treat this embarrassing problem other than taking regular shower.
Using Apple Cider Vinegar
Apple cider vinegar is a great natural underarm deodorant. It’s best to splash the vinegar under the arms when you get out of the shower.
Alternatively, you can add one cup of apple cider vinegar to lukewarm bath water. Soak in this water for 10 minutes once daily.
Corn flour
It may sound surprising but corn flour can also be used to prevent body odour.
The method is to dust some corn flour on your under arms and all the places where you find the body odour.
Corn flour sucks the sweat keeping your body dry and odour free. Baking powder can also be used for body odour just like corn flour.
Use a Hydrogen Peroxide mixture
Hydrogen peroxide is an effective natural remedy for body odour
Prepare a solution by adding one teaspoon of hydrogen peroxide in a cup of water. Stir the solution well.Use a clean cloth to wipe the areas of your body that are producing the body odor, then dry your skin thoroughly.
Shave regularly
An important thing to remember is to shave your armpit hair regularly as it reduces sweating. The odor from sweat is caused by bacteria and the bacteria can multiply in the damp area of armpit hair – shaving the armpits results in less space for bacteria to breed.
Unwanted hair can lock the moisture of your body thus producing bad odour.
Leave alcohol and smoking
Alcohol and smoking not only result in bad mouth odour, but also body odour, as it builds up toxins in the body. When you smoke, the smell tends to adhere onto your clothes and body for a long time. To permanently get rid of body odour and even other health issues, get rid of both alcohol and smoking.
