According to details, foreign diplomats were briefed by the officials of the Pakistan Army, Foreign Secretary and Special Aide to the PM on Foreign Affairs, Tariq Fatimi.
The FO Spokesperson, Tasneem Aslam told that the foreign diplomats were informed about Pakistan’s concerns over unprovoked firing and shelling by the Indian forces, across LoC and the Working Boundary.
“These envoys were requested to inform their respective states about Pakistan’s reservations on the issue and to mount diplomatic pressure on India to hold bilateral talks” she added.
Aslam said Pakistan seeks resolution of all the bilateral issues including Kashmir, through peaceful dialogue.
On this occasion, military officials told that Indian forces reacted negatively to ceasefire by Pakistani forces.
