Two 'high-profile' terrorists captured

PESHAWAR: Security forces on Thursday apprehended two high-profile terrorists in two different raids in Dir and Peshawar, ARY News reported.

According to details, security forces arrested a terrorist named Abdul Rahim from Dir, allegedly involved in the attack on GOC Malakand, Major General Sanaullah Khan Niazi and Colonel Tauseef Ahmed, back in 2013.

The arrested terrorist carried Rs 1 million head money.

In another raid, security personnel rounded up another terrorist from Matni area of Peshawar.

SP Peshawar, Shakir Bangash told that the arrested culprit was involved in several terrorism activities and the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) had also announced Rs 5 lac bounty for the terrorist.

Both the arrested terrorists were said to be linked with a banned militant outfit.
