According to details, an exchange of fire took place between the armed men and security forces in Chitral’s Kailash Valley, in which five terrorists were killed.
Security sources said that weapons were seized from the slain terrorists and the dead bodies have been handed over to Chitral Scouts.
“The terrorists had entered in Pakistani territory from Afghanistan by crossing the border and killed two shepherds and also taken away a flock of nearly 300 goats,” sources said. The incident caused fear and panic in the area.
Moreover, law enforcement agencies have arrested dozens of suspected criminals in Malikabad area of Swabi. According to police officials an operation was being carried out against criminal elements in the area.
