According to details, an exchange of fire took place between the law enforcement agencies and the robbers at Meethadar area in which four dacoits were reportedly killed.
Weapons and stolen items were recovered from the slain dacoits.
A hitman named Shoaib was arrested in a raid at Bilal Colony area of New Karachi. According to police, he was involved in the killing of five persons.
Arms and hand grenade were also recovered from the target killer.
Twenty seven people, including an Afghan national, were taken into custody during a search operation near Hill Park.
