There are certain foods which take more energy than they should to peel them as there exist easy ways to do this job.

Garlic: For most of the people peeling garlic is a toilsome thing to do. Just smash apart the bulbs of garlic with your palm and shake it hard in a pot covered with a lid to peel off garlic.
Banana: Peeling a banana can also be tricky if you do it the other way, but to do this job easily just hold the banana from center and peel it from its butt end.
Egg: Boiled eggs are commonly used in winter for different reasons including remedy to cough and cold. Peeling an egg is not a cakewalk. In order to perform this task easily, you have to place a hard-boiled egg into icy water and shake it. It will come out clean of its shell.
Potato: Boiled potato is used in a large number of dishes. Lightly slice the potato from center and boil the potato for 15 minutes then put it immediately in cold water to let it cool. Then, its skin will come off easily.
