Some children who were playing at the bank of a canal found a grenade there considering it a toy they brought the bomb to their house, SSP Operation Mohammad Saleem said.
The grenade exploded when the children were playing with it resulting in injury of four persons including two children, the police official said. Four sheeps in the house also died in the incident.
The explosion caused panic and harrasment in the area.
Police has collected evidence from the spot and inquiring into the incident.
According to police officials, a suicide jacket was also found from the nearby canal recently.
