Four killed in road accident near Jamshoro

JAMSHORO: Four persons were killed due to a collision between a passenger bus and a rickshaw at the Indus Highway near Jamshoro on Sunday, ARY News reported.

According to details, a passenger bus collided with a rickshaw at the Indus Highway in front of Mehran University, due to which four persons were killed including two women and the driver.

Two injured of the incident were immediately shifted to a local hospital.

Police told that the collision took place for the rickshaw was being driven on the wrong side of the road.

In another incident, fire erupted inside a passenger van at Sukkur Toll Plaza. The incident occurred due to the cylinder blast.

Fortunately, the locals and police on the spot saved all the passengers, who were enroute to Shikarpur fair.

However, the driver of the van fled away following the incident.
