Four Lahore police men held over links with a banned outfit

LAHORE: The Crime Investigation Agency (CIA) police on Friday apprehended four Lahore police men on suspicion of links with a banned outfit, on the other hand its is revealed that the suspect said to be arrested from Faisalabad in Shuja Khanzada case was already under custody for past three months, ARY News reported.

Suspected black sheep in Lahore police prompted the CIA police to nab four cops on Friday over their links with an outlawed group.

Three cops were taken into custody from Police Lines and one from Lakshmi Chowk.

Officials recovered two vehicles and cash from arrested cops.

On the other hand, it is revealed that the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) in order to cover up the incompetence of the provincial government recently showed the arrest of a suspected terrorist Shoaib Cheema, who was taken into custody three months ago.

Sources said the suspect Shoaib Cheema in being deliberately involved in Shuja Khanzada case in order to change its direction.

It was further added that Cheema was taken into arrest for his nexus with al-Qaeda.
