Four suspects arrested in late-night Karachi raid

KARACHI: Rangers personnel conducted a ‘targeted raid’ in Sultanabad area on late Saturday night and arrested at least four suspects allegedly associated with a banned outfit, ARY News reported.

The raid was conducted following arrest of a group of suspects from the same neighbourhood a few days ago.

They are said to be associated with banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan and involved in attacks on security forces. One of the commanders was identified as Badshah Khan.

The arrested suspects were moved to an unidentified location for interrogation.

Before Rangers personnel entered the locality, all entry and exit points of the area were cordoned.

Law law enforcers didn’t disclose details about the weapons seized during the targeted operation.
