According to Rangers spokesperson, paramilitary personnel conducted a raid near Northern Bypass after being tipped about presence of the killers of Advocate Hasnain Bukhari.

The ‘terrorists’ opened fire at Rangers, prompting the paramilitary to retaliate.

Consequently, four militants were killed, while a Rangers man was injured.

The spokesperson said the paramilitary force has kicked off a new operation to arrest the killers of lawyers, journalists and citizens.

On the other hand, unknown culprits shot dead a political activist Aftab in Korangi, whereas a mugging incident left a DSP wounded in Sharfabad.

Meanwhile, South Zone police arrested eight suspected target killers and extortionists and seized weapons and a bullet-proof vest from them.
