According to Radio Pakistan, Rasheed made the statements while meeting the Secretary General of Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union (ABU) Javad Mottaghi.
Information Minister said that Pakistan will benefit from the experience gained by becoming a member of the broadcasting union.
The information minister was also briefed on the operations of ABU by Mottaghi in the meeting.
