Funeral prayers of slain MQM worker offered

KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Haseeb Khan has said that the government of Sindh has failed to provide protection to the people, ARY News reported on Monday.

He was talking to media after funeral prayers of Abdul Waheed, a worker of MQM, in Orangi Town today.

Abdul Waheed was killed by armed men in a firing incident in Orangi Town.

The members of MQM Rabita Committee, party workers and people of the locality attended the funeral prayers in large number.

Haseeb Khan termed the killings of MQM workers a conspiracy and said that the party will not be intimidated by it.

He said that the provincial government has failed to maintain law and order in Karachi and demanded immediate arrest of the culprits involved in killings of the party workers.
