Gang supplying dead animals’ meat in twin cities busted

ISLAMABAD: Authorities on Thursday caught a group involved in supplying and selling dead animals in Rawalpindi and Islamabad, ARY News reported.

The capital city administration raided an illegal slaughter house near Motorway and seized 2,000 kilograms of meat of dead animals.

Police said meat of dead animals was brought to the slaughter house from Jhung and was being supplied in Rawalpindi and Islamabad.

The law enforcers also arrested ten people found at the abattoir.

Police said they were investigating and interrogating the suspects to track their whole network involved in the inhumane business.
