Ghouri urges US to take notice of Imran's remarks

KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader, Babar Ghouri Tuesday urged the United States (US) to take notice of Imran Khan’s remarks against his party chief, Altaf Hussain, ARY News reported.

Babar Ghouri, in his letter to the US Ambassador Richard Olson, wrote that the chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI), Imran Khan is being used against Muttahida Qaumi Movement.

He stated that Imran Khan is hurting the sentiments of millions of followers of Altaf Hussain by defaming their leader.

The letter further stated that the PTI chief is a supporter of the Taliban, while he has not played any role in the war against terrorism, of which Pakistan is a frontline state.

He urged the United States to take notice of Khan’s support for the Taliban.

The MQM leader, while referring to the Sita White case, stated that Ms White’s daughter is longing for her father, while Imran Khan has not been facing the courts and urged the US authorities to help the poor child find her father.
