‘Go Nawaz Go’ chants in khuli kacheri annoys minister

HYDERABAD: The ‘Go Nawaz Go’ chants at a khuli kacheri (open court) in Hyderabad forced the State Minister for Water and Power Abid Sher Ali to leave the meeting, ARY News reported.

The minister made it to the ‘open kacheri’ to listen to public grievances, however ‘Go Nawaz Go’ slogans by people irked Mr. Ali and he was stunned to see people indomitable in raising such slogans.

Some of the people apprised the minister of their problems regarding over-billing and corrupt practices of power department officials in their district, but the anti-PM chants eclipsed all other activities.

Ruckus erupted as one side kept attempting to pacify the protesting people, but in vain. Later the situation was brought under control and Ali returned to the kacheri to listen to the public.
