Gohar Mumtaz pays tribute to APS victims

TOP NEWS

The lead vocalist and composer of ‘Jal’ band Gohar Mumtaz posted a new song on his facebook profile that he dedicates to Army Public School attacks. This song marks the return of the 33-year-old singer who had taken a sabbatical from music due to his acting projects.

More than a month has passed of that brutal bloodshed in Peshawar’s Army Public School that killed 149 people but the scars are still fresh as the nation has not forgotten the trauma of lifting small coffins.

Many singers have paid tributes to the victims of APS by making melancholic songs but Gohar has come up with a different idea and inspiring tune. He has made a mixture of slow and upbeat music in his new song ‘Tu Qadam Barhaye Ja’. The Jal band wants to spread a positive message of peace and harmony through this song.

Pakistan entertainment industry along with Pakistan Army is trying hard to motivate the victims of this massacre even ISPR has asked Hamza Ali Abbasi of ‘Pyare Afzal’  to make a telefilm on the deadly attacks which is a commendable effort.

Here is ‘Tu Qadam Barhaye Ja’ by Jal.
