Govt aims to provide maximum relief to masses, says Asif

ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Water and Power Khawaja Muhammad Asif has said that federal government aims to provide maximum relief to the nation by cutting power costs, ARY News reports on Friday.

Khawaja Asif, speaking to media, said that National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) has approved a cut of 30 percent in the power cost and he said this “is a big deal”.

He added that power projects are being started in all the provinces of the countries whereas power plants are being provided uninterrupted supply of furnace oil.
