Addressing the US-Pak Business Council today, Mr. Sharif said ongoing operation Zarb-e-Azb will be taken to its logical end.
He told the gathering that it was one of the top priorities of the government to address energy needs of the country. Several projects are already afoot in this connection, he added.
Meanwhile, the premier also met a delegation of Pakistan Oil and Gas Company led by its Executive Vice President who called on him in Islamabad.
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said the government was making all out efforts to enhance oil and gas exploration in the country.
The Prime Minister said the government had announced petroleum policy which provides lucrative incentives to oil companies in term of price and other inducement.
