Govt failed miserably in tackling crises, says Siraj

CHICHAWATNI: Emir of Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Siraj-ul-Haq has said that the incumbent government has failed miserably to improve the living standard of the people, ARY News reports on Monday.

Siraj-ul-Haq, speaking to media after condoling with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader on the death of his father in a village at Chichawatni, said the poverty, unemployment, loadshedding along with law and order situation have made life miserable for the nation.

The JI Chief also said that the federal government failed to capitalize on the opportunity to end terrorism from the country when it had the support of the entire country after the Peshawar attack.

He has said that Jamaat-e-Islami will hold a mass contact campaign in which millions of people will be made party members.
