Govt left Musharraf’s matter on judiciary to save itself, says Shah

ISLAMABAD: Opposition Leader in the National Assembly (NA), Syed Khursheed Shah on Wednesday remarked that the prime minister seems to be happy with Pervez Musharraf granted permission to travel abroad, ARY News reported.

Talking to media here, Shah said the government in order to save itself left the matter on judiciary, for it was under pressure with regard to Musharraf issue.

He said a few forces in the country are more powerful than the Article-6 of the Constitution of Pakistan.

The opposition leader said there is no objection over lifting of travel ban on Musharraf, but if the former president does not return to country then the judiciary will be responsible for this.
