Govt not to allow crimes 'in the name of politics': Rasheed

ISLAMABAD: Federal Information Minister Pervez Rasheed has stated that no political party will be allowed to commit crime in the name of politics, ARY News reported.

Speaking to media in Islamabad, Rasheed said peace had considerably been restored in Karachi after operation from law enforcement agencies. However, the ‘captain’ of Karachi operation is Chief Minister Sindh Qaim Ali Shah.

“Any culprit will remain a culprit irrespective of his affiliation with any political party,” underlined the minister.

He said Rangers operation in Karachi was being conducted in the light of orders of democratic government.

He vowed to end politics of ‘bullet and abuses’ from the country.
