Govt paying attention on projects in Sindh, says PM

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has said that federal government is paying attention on the development projects in Sindh, ARY News reported on Friday.

He made the statement while meeting Governor Sindh Mohammad Zubair in Islamabad.

The prime minister said that federal government is working on energy projects in Sindh whereas several coal-based projects have also been set up in Thar region.

The premier stated that M-9 Motorway project will also facilitate the people of the province and Karachi Circular Railway project has been included in China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).

PM Sharif said that that the construction work on Green Line bus project is underway at a fast pace.

The premier and Sindh governor discussed the law and order situation in Karachi along with other issues of the province. They also discussed the targeted operations against criminal elements in Karachi in detail.

The prime minister said that the law and order situation in the metropolis has improved.
