Election rigging: Govt, PPP agree to form judicial commission

ISLAMABAD: The ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz and Pakistan Peoples Party on Wednesday agreed upon the recommendations of the political jirgah for constituting a judicial commission to probe election rigging as demanded by Imran Khan, ARY News reported.

According to details, Finance Minister on Wednesday called on Senator Rehman Malik in Islamabad.

During the meeting, Dar said that the government accepts the recommendations of the political jirgah, provided if the Tehreek-i-Insaf has no objection over it.

On this occasion, Senator Rehman Malik said that he will soon take the opinion of PTI leaders over the recommendations.

He praised the government for accepting the recommendations of the jirgah and expressed hopes that if the PTI responded positively then a judicial commission will soon be constituted.
