Govt, PTI talks deadlocked over PM’s resignation demand

The government has also categorically stated that the PM’s resignation demand by the PTI was out of question.

A 12th round of talks between the two sides concluded on Monday with no way-out hammered out of the impasse.

Finance Minister Ishaq Dar who is part of government’s committee said yesterday that all six demands of the PTI had been agreed upon, bar that one of the PM’s resignation.

Shah Mehmood Qureshi said his party’s clear stance had already been conveyed to the government and now it was PML-N regime to decide fate of the talks.
