Govt resolves to take stern action against all terrorists

According to details, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif today chaired the meeting of the Federal Cabinet which held a detailed exchange of views on political and security situation of the country.

The meeting was attended by Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar, Finance Minister Ishaq Dar, Adviser to PM on National Security and Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz and Tariq Fatemi.

On the occasion, PM Sharif vowed to eliminate terrorism from Pakistan at any cost.

Meanwhile, Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar briefed the premier on implementation of the National Action Plan (NAP).

The meeting expressed grief over Attock incident which claimed lives of 19 people including the Punjab Home Minister Shuja Khanzada and decided to utilize all means for a stern action against terrorists.

It also reviewed the situation which originated after a controversial interview of ex-minister for Climate Change Senator Mushahidullah Khan and advised the cabinet members to refrain from making irresponsible statements.

Moreover, the proposed visit of Pakistan’s National Security Adviser to India and security affairs also came under discussion at the meeting.
