In meeting demands of International Monetary Fund (IMF), Finance Minister Ishaq Dar and his team once again burdened the people with third budget in a year.

With the announcement of mini-budget, prices of 350 imported items will further be increased. The government announced the budget in the name of imposing duty on luxury goods.

The budget will result in raising the prices of milk, yoghurt, butter and biscuits.

Prices of imported beverages, chocolate, gravy and ketchup will also be increased.

People will also have to purchase soap, shampoo, conditioners, jewellery, make-up kits, marble, steel and electrical appliances on higher rates.
