CCTV footage shows one suspect robber throw red chili powder into the eyes of the bank guard which blinded him. Despite that, the guard got into a scuffle with him and managed to keep them away from entering the bank.
According to reports, three bank robbers approached the bank while one of them scuffled with the bank guard. Area residents came to his assistance which also resulted in a brief exchange of gunfire, and nabbed the robber while two others managed to escaped.
Police officials lead by DSP Ajmer Altaf Hussain reached the site of incident and took him into custody. Later, they arrested five other accomplices on interrogation including the two robbers which had escaped earlier.
