Gujranwala: PTI caravan attacked with eggs, tomatoes

GUJRANWALA: Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) caravan was once again attacked in Gujranwala, however this time unknown men hurled eggs and tomatoes on the caravan which was enroute to Islamabad, ARY News reported.

According to details, PTI caravan which set out under the leadership of Aijaz Chaudhry was passing by the GT Road, Gujranwala. It was then that a group of unknown men came forth and started pelting eggs and tomatoes on the vehicles, which they carried in shopping bags.

However, they fled away as soon as some PTI workers jumped out of their vehicles to inquire them.

This is not the first instance, PTI caravan was also attacked in Gujranwala during Azadi March in the month of August.

Workers and supporters of the ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PMLN) had pelted stones on the container of Imran Khan. PTI had also accused that the miscreants also fired bullets at Khan’s container, following which he had moved inside a bullet-proof vehicle.
