The 34-year-old had his action reported during the first Test against New Zealand in Abu Dhabi last month.

He was suspended from all international cricket after a bio-mechanical test in England, which found his elbow flex was more than the permissible 15 degrees.

The unofficial bowling action test of Hafeez was conducted under the presence of ICC officials today.  The final test of Pakistan all-rounder is likely to be taken on January 6.

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has included Hafeez in the preliminary 30-man squad in hopes that he would get clearance in time.

ICC has set January 7 as the deadline for submitting a final World Cup squad scheduled to be held in February and March in Australia and New Zealand.
