Hafeez out of action for two weeks

DUBAI: Pakistani all-rounder Mohammad Hafeez will be out of action for two weeks after he sustained an injury during a practice session ahead of Australia’s tour at the United Arab Emirates, ARY News reports on Saturday.

He will miss out the only Twenty20 game against Australia on Sunday (tomorrow) as the doctors have advised him two weeks’ rest.

The green shirts thrive on its spinners and will now have to rely on T20 captain Shahid Afridi and Raza Hassan for spin alongwith Mohammad Irfan for the team’s pace attack.

On the other hand, Australia has to cope with injuries as all rounder Shane Watson and opener Shaun Marsh will miss out the T20 game on Sunday due to injuries of their own. However, the visitors still have solid hitters which can send the ball to all the corners of the park.
