Haier T20: Multan thrash Bahawalpur, Karachi edges past Islamabad

Multan Region beat Bahawalpur Region by 33 runs.

Being put in to bat, Multan scored 169/3 in their 20 overs with Zain Abbas remaining unbeaten at 57 runs while Imran Farhat made 46 runs for the team.

Bahawalpur could only score 136/4 in the run chase. Riasat Ali made 63 runs while Faisal Mubashir scored 35 runs for their side.

Faisalabad edged past Abbottabad by two wickets.

Abbottabad, batting first, put up 178/7 in their alloted 20 overs. Opener Yasir Hameed scored 59 runs Sajjad Ali made 56 runs for their side.

Ehsan Adil took three wickets for Faisalabad while Zahoor Khan and Saeed Ajmal grabbed two and one wicket respectively.

Faisalabad reached the target with two wickets and three balls to spare. Khurram Shehzad made 59 runs and Asif Ali scored 45 runs for their team.

Karachi Region Whites thrashed Hyderabad Region by 60 runs.

Karachi, electing to bat first, scored 173/7 in their 20 overs as Captain Faisal Iqbal made 60 runs for the team while Rameez Raja and Mohammad Waqas scored 37 runs and 24 runs respectively for their team.

In reply, the Hyderabad side could only manage 113 runs on the board. Shoaib Laghari was the stand out batsman for the team as he made 51 runs.

Peshawar defeated Lahore Region Whites by three wickets.

Lahore, batting first, made 165/5 in their 20 overs.

Hussain Talat made 64 runs while Ahmed Shehzad scored 59 runs for the team.

Peshawar scored 167/7 thanks to a 59 run knock by Iftikhar Ahmed. Adil Amin remained not out at 38 runs.

Karachi Region Blues edged past Islamabad Region in a thriller as they won by one wicket.

Islamabad Region made 176/6 as Shahid Yousuf scored 57 and Babar Azam made 43 runs for their team.

Karachi, in reply, made 180/9 in 19.4 overs. Khurram Manzoor made 62 and Fawad Alam scored 33 runs to guide their team home.
