Hamza Ali Abbasi might take impulsive decisions and make brash statements at times, however, the Pakistani actor does stand up for his country when the need arises. Recently, he updated a Facebook status in which the Pyarey Afzal star lashed out at Bollywood for following up brilliant films such as Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Pk and Haider with hate-mongering films such as Phantom.
Taking to his Twitter account, Hamza opined that maybe Pakistanis should also make a film on how Indian government and RAW were behind atrocities and massacres in Balochistan and their support for TTP. This is what Hamza Ali Abbasi stated:-
Hamza Ali Abbasi also stated in the end that any Pakistani who shared a song from the film Phantom on their Facebook profile will be demonstrating that they have no respect for their homeland. The movie Phantom features Saif Ali Khan and Katrina Kaif in the lead roles. JuD chief Hafiz Saeed has been portrayed in the film, directed by Kabir Khan. Saif Ali Khan plays an Indian agent who plans to kill a Pakistani terrorist, inside Pakistan.
The movie has also drawn criticism from JuD chief Hafiz Saeed, who called on the Pakistani government to ban Phantom.

Hamza Ali Abbasi is not the first and we have a feeling he also won’t be the last Pakistani celebrity who offers his views on Phantom. Hamza Ali Abbasi will next be seen in the upcoming ARY Films movie Jawani Phir Nahi Aani opposite Humayun Saeed, Mehwish Hayat and Vasay Chaudhry.
