Hamza Ali Abbasi rejected India's 'Baby'

KARACHI: Pakistani actor Hamza Ali Abbasi claimed on Thursday that he was offered a role in the Bollywood project ‘Baby’ but he turned down the offer as the movie was anti-Pakistan, ARY News reported.

In a message on his Facebook page, the Pakistani heartthrob revealed that he rejected the offer as he saw a slightly anti-Pakistan element in the storyline adding that  he does not oppose the idea of Pakistani actors working in Indian movies but working in a movie which is against Pakistan is ‘unacceptable’.

He implored Pakistani artists to think like a Pakistani first and then as an artist.

Hamza Ali Abbasi is currently working for the release of his movie ‘Kambakht’ which also stars Humayun Saeed, Shehryar Munawar, Siddiquim Sohai, Ali Abro and Saba Qamar.

It must be noted that the Akshay Kumar’s espionage thriller ‘Baby’, which centers round an Indian spy’s mission to capture a terrorist from a West Asian nation, has already been banned in Pakistan.
