Harbhajan Singh and Bollywood actress Geeta Basra’s wedding celebrations to last for 5 days

Geeta Basra and Harbhajan Singh were keeping their romance under the wraps for quite a few years, till they decided to make their marriage plans public. The Bollywood actress and the Indian off-spinner will tie the knot on October 29, in a festive wedding which is likely to be celebrated for as many as 5 days!

Social media is also abuzz with the wedding, as pictures of the wedding invitation has gone viral. The red-and-gold wedding invitation does give away quite a few details about the couple. Firstly, the marriage will be solemnized on October 29 at Hotel Club Cabana at Phagwara Road, near to Harbhajan’s hometown of Jalandhar.

The hotel has been booked by Harbhajan Singh’s family and this was duly confirmed by the hotel management.

“We have been booked for an event. We cannot disclose anything as we have been asked to maintain confidentiality,” stated an official of the club.

The wedding celebrations will be spread out for a total number of five days, including sangeet, mehendi and reception, which will be conducted on the 1st of November. According to other rumours and reports circulating online, Indian cricketers such as Virat Kohli and Yuvraj Singh have been invited to the wedding. Also, owing to Geeta’s affiliation with the Indian film industry, a number of Bollywood celebs will also attend the event.

Some South African cricketers have also been invited  to the wedding and if rumorus are to be believed, then a choreographer has been hired to prep Harbhajan Singh and his family members to properly groove to some Bollywood songs.
