Horse-trading 'at peak' for Senate seats, claims Qureshi

TOP NEWS

Talking to media here,  Qureshi said that the ‘sale and purchase’ of Senate seats is at its peak and political parties have kicked off horse-trading in this regard.

He slammed Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) for its ‘double standards’, saying that at one hand it levels allegations on Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), while on the other it invites the same party to join in the provincial government in order to save its own turf.

Qureshi also announced to support Sunday’s rally in solidarity with the victims of Shikarpur incident, which will culminate at the CM House.

Taking exception to Asif Ali Zardari, he said that the PPP co-chairman can go to Islamabad for trading on Senate seats, but he cannot visit Shikarpur for condoling the bereaved relatives of the victims.
