ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan has said that organizing cricket games will improve the country’s image at international level , ARY News reported.

Speaking on Wednesday, the interior minister said that that governing Pakistan is the most difficult task.

Nisar said, “On one hand, there are heaps of issues to be dealt with and there are nation’s expectation. But by the grace of God, the government of Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) will fulfill all the promises it has made to the people.”

He added that Pakistan’s image will improve if cricket is played in Pakistan. He said that point-scoring and politicizing every incident is inappropriate.

“Those who did nothing for the country and its people are trying to hide their mistakes and misguide the masses through issuing statements and playing blame game,” the minister said.

He said, “Everyone can lie as much as they want. We will speak the truth and the masses will decide”

Nisar said that they play politics for serving the nation.

He added that grass-root level corruption can only be eradicated with the cooperation of the masses.
