Hotline contact made between Pak-India DGMOs

RAWALPINDI: Director General of Military Operations established a hotline with his Indian counterpart to protest against unprovoked firing carried out by Indian forces at Nezapir Sector of Rawlakot.

Indian Border Security Force resorted to unprovoked firing in Nezapir Sector of Rawlakot, said Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

Indian forces opened indiscriminate firing at around 11.40 pm Saturday night and continued their gunfire with intermittent shelling until 4.45am.

No loss of life or property damage was reported during the firing. Pak Rangers befittingly responded to the Indian aggression.

The issues in regard to the LOC ceasefire violations were discussed by the two officials in the hotline.
