I am ready to sit in container for a year, if needed: Imran Khan

ISLAMABAD: Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) Imran Khan said on Thursday that he is ready to sit inside the container even for a year, if needed, ARY News reported.

Addressing to the participants of Azaadi March in Islamabad, Imran Khan said that he will celebrate Eid-ul-Adha in Islamabad in order to continue his mission of creating awareness among masses.

“I am not running after premiership, my goal is to make people aware of their rights”, he added.

PTI Chief asked people of Pakistan to raise voice against VIP culture adding that “It is a time to wipe out corruption and monarchy from the country”. He said change cannot be achieved without sacrifices.

Criticizing Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Imran Khan said PM Nawaz has invested his capital in United Kingdom and asked him [Nawaz Sharif] to bring his investment to Pakistan.

He said Pakistan has the lowest tax GDP ratio of about 8 per cent because most of the parliamentarians and influential lords are tax defaulters.

“Nawaz Sharif didn’t pay any tax to Pakistan but pay around Rs.2 million to UK government”, said Imran Khan.

PTI Chief said that the government is not afraid of protesters but of their ideology, as it is awakening people to take stand for their fundamental rights.

Moreover, Imran Khan asked PTI supporters to reach Islamabad for the historic protest to be held tomorrow (Friday).
