“Neither I get married for money, nor I parted ways for the same reason,” she said while speaking in the ARY News programme ‘11th Hour’.

The former BBC presenter said Pakistan was her home and “I will soon return to my country.”

My children are acquiring education in Pakistan, she said.

“I had come to Pakistan for work, not for Imran Khan,” maintained Reham. She underlined that she won’t let matters of her personal life affect the professional life.

I will, she said, produce films as planned and this task won’t be affected. Reham said shooting for her upcoming film would commence soon.

To a question, she said no publisher had contacted her for any book.

Imran Khan, 62, married 42-year-old Reham Khan, a former BBC weather host and a divorced mother of three, in January this year in a simple ceremony at his Islamabad home.

He divorced his second wife  with ‘mutual consent’.

Reham was widely criticised after she appeared at public meetings of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf, with opponents accusing her of seeking to boost her own profile through her husband’s fame.
