KARACHI: Intelligence agencies (IAs) during a crackdown against suspected terrorists, nabbed an Uzbek citizen from whom a video clip of the Karachi airport, was recovered – ARY News reports.
According to details, IAs on Saturday apprehended several suspects from Manghopir and Sultanabad, including Afghan and Uzbek nationals.
During the crackdown, officials recovered the mobile footage of Karachi airport from an Uzbek national, in which it can be easily seen that some suspected people reach the visitors’ gallery of the Jinnah Terminal of Karachi airport and making the video of different internal sections through their mobile phones.
IAs are of the view that terrorists had also taken assistance from the same video clip, for the June 9 deadly attack that lasted all night.
The video also shows the planes at the Jinnah Terminal and shots of runway.
Sources told that IAs are further investigating the arrested Uzbek citizen and officials are trying to know the purpose of making this video as well as to how many people he is in touch with.
