ICC CEO confident of Pakistan-India series in December

DUBAI: Chief Executive Officer of International Cricket Council (ICC) Dave Richardson said that he was confident that the scheduled test series between Pakistan and India will go on as planned, ARY News reports.

Dave Richardson stated that it will be the chances of the test series between Pakistan and India was discussed the recent ICC board meeting and is another historical series expecting to take place.

The ICC CEO denied the rumours that Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Shahryar Khan had warned to boycott playing against the neighbouring country if the scheduled series does not take place. He added that all members have agreed to play wherever they are scheduled.

He also said that there will be repercussions for members who violate their agreements.

Richardson said he was confident that India would do a good job of hosting the World T20 2016 scheduled in March next year.

He expressed his optimism that India will be a good host of the World Twenty20 schedule to take place on March as Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has organized several cricketing tournaments.
