If you are an actor, 300 people out there can do your job: Priyanka Chopra
Priynaka Chopra has made it big worldwide owing to her stellar music hits and acting prowess. The actress, whose American television show Quantico registered a strong performance at the box office, has gone on to bag a pivotal role beside Dwayne The Rock Johnson and Zac Effron in Baywatch.
In her latest interview, Priyanka spoke about success, what she wants in a man and how it feels like to rub shoulders with some of Hollywood’s most prominent stars.
In response as to what draws people to her, Priyanka said “I am super confident about myself, and I am a good listener. I think people like that.”
When asked as to what she thought was attractive in a man, the Quantico star was quick to admit that it was confidence.
“I find confidence and self-belief extremely attractive. Doing something with conviction can be one of the most attractive things about someone. We all make mistakes, and there are times when we question ourselves, our choices and beliefs. I believe that you have to dust yourself off and move on,” she said.
That was not all. She also said that shoes also made a likeable impression of the man. Priyanka also did not mince words when she was asked to give advice to young people, and warned them how working hard came with an acting career.
“I think it’s very important to respect your job. If you are an actor, 300 people out there can do your job. So, you don’t have the luxury to give excuses for not working hard,” she disclosed.
“No matter where my work takes me, the moment I am in front of the camera, I have a certain credibility. Hollywood is just an extension of me as an artiste. It’s just been six months since Quantico premiered, but it’s been very fulfilling. I make mistakes but I also know how to win,” she continued.
The actress also disclosed how her mother was a big fan of Bruce Springsteen and was extremely ecstatic when she got to meet him.
According to Filmfare, her mother Madhuu Chopra addresses her marriage plans saying:
“Today, I see many marriages falling apart. People don’t have the tolerance to give each other and their relationship much time… When Priyanka reaches that stage, when she has the time to nurture her relationship and give it the attention it needs and demands, she will get married. It’s not like you have reached a certain age and now it’s time to get married. That’s a wrong basis for marriage.”
Good for Piggy Chopps. We wish her well in all of her future endeavours!
