IHC heard the case of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) workers who were arrested for violating Section 144. Chief Justice of IHC Anwar Kasi ordered authorities to finish the cases due to which 650 violators were released.
Defence lawyer, in his arguments, said that police filed the cases by crossing their limits.
Police had nabbed large number of common citizens alongwith PTI workers for violating the section as well.
