IHC suspends non-bailable warrants against Musharraf

The decision was challenged in Islamabad High Court. The counsel of Pervez Musharraf in his arguments before the bench said that the former president could not appear in the court hearing due to his ill health.

The counsel further argued that a medical team had advised Musharraf to avoid travel. He said a medical board was constituted on the order of a trial court in Quetta hearing Akbar Bugti murder case against the former president.

The lawyer further said that according to a fresh medical test his client suffering from heart ailment and wants to go abroad for treatment.

The court after hearing arguments of Musharraf’s lawyer suspended the trial court’s orders and adjourned further hearing of the case till Monday.
