LAHORE: Central leader of Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PMLQ), Chaudhry Pervez Ilahi has said that the current Government is a result of rigging of elections. He declared the demands of the PTI Chairman, Imran Khan justified and said that former Chief Justice (CJ), Iftikhar Chaudhry and another ‘masked man’ were rewarded for manipulating election results – ARY News reports.
Talking to media after meeting PAT Chief, Tahir ul Qadri at his residence here on Saturday, Chaudhry Pervez Ilahi said that tomorrow’s all parties conference (APC) has a one point agenda to provide justice to the victims of Model Town Incident. He said that the barbarism exhibited in Model Town, is highly condemnable, while the police is still refusing to register the FIR of the affectees, nor the Chief Minister, Shahbaz Sharif resigned.
He said that the APC will be aimed at uniting all the political parties against state oppression.
Speaking about alleged rigging in last general elections, Ilahi said that Iftikhar Chaudhry and the other man were monitoring the elections. He added that Arsalan Iftikhar was made the Director of Balochistan Investment Board and the son of that ‘masked man’ was appointed as the Advocate General, for giving favors in elections.
The PMLQ leader said that the current Government has a fake and manipulated mandate, and there is no moral justification left for the leaders to rule the country.
Pervez Ilahi affirmed that Imran Khan rightly says that verify any constituency of Punjab, there will be only be garbage in the bags, not the votes.
