Speaking at a crowded press conference at his Lahore residence, Pervez Elahi said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, his government and media cell are once again trying to defame him and his family, in the same way they had managed publishing of similar stories against them at the time of General Elections 2013.

He slammed the Sharif brothers saying that those who boasted of dragging Zardari through the streets invited him to their residence and kept flattering in order to save their rule.

The PML-Q leader went on to say that talks among opposition parties are continued and that so far we do not have doubts about any group.

The efforts PM Sharif is making to get Moonis Elahi named in Panama documents, should rather be made to get his sons’ names excluded from the list, suggested Elahi.
